The Queer Leadership Initiative (QLI) is a semester-long leadership program for UT students. It is hosted by Queer People of Color & Allies (QPOCA) and Queer Students Alliance (QSA) as a program to increase awareness of various issues faced by the Queer community. QLI includes workshops to train students on different leadership skills and provides a safe space for students to affirm a positive Queer identity.
Workshops will be held on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00pm in the Student Activity Center (SAC). The meetings will begin with an ice-breaker style game and a brief overview of various aspects of our history. Generally, guest speakers will present for the first part of the workshop and a discussion section will be held for the second part of the workshop.
