Hey all!

Here's the application for Queer Leadership Initiative 2012! We are very excited about this year's QLI and want everyone to be a part of it. Please fill out the application and e-mail it to Alexis Emperador by March 23rd.

Hey you sexy queers!

Drag Ball is just around the corner and we need YOU (that's right, YOU!) to come strut yo' stuff and make some panties wet.

So, if you want to be a part of the epicness, message me with all your basic info (you know, name and contact stuff) and what you're planning on doing. I need DETAILS, people DETAILS! Meaning, you need to know your stuff. None of your half-baked, flaky shenanigans, I want to know you have a PLAN.

That's right, I am serious because drag ball is serious QPOCA business ;) Although we love Beyonce, we don't want a million of hers. This is QPOCA and I know you people are more diverse than that. *snap*

Let's make this awesome and let's see who can top Panocha Villa =O

Sincerely,
QPOCA's sexiest officer

P.S. The THEME is "Project Drag Ball: Express Yourself". So basically anything goes as long as you bring your best. Remember, you will be judged on both performance and looks!

P.S.S. (or P.P.S.?) Selections are first-come, first-serve. For example, if you want to do a certain St. Britney song and either of the following happens:
a) we have too many St. Britney songs, OR
b) someone already called that particular song
THEN...you're out of luck! So let's get to it!

QPOCA is bringing in D'Lo to celebrate Trans* Pride. Plan for it.

D'Lo is a "queer Tamil Sri L.A.nkan-American, political theatre artist/writer, director, comedian and music producer". In other words...he's awesome. I had the pleasure of seeing him perform Jotalogues with Adelina Anthony in early September and I must say I am rather enthused.

Admission is FREE and he will be performing his show called D’FaQTo.
Here is the description of the show taken directly from his website http://www.dlocokid.com/
